More Than Just Pet Care

A major benefit of our pet sitting service is that your home stays secure while you’re away. We’ll take care of the little things—collecting mail, taking out the bins, adjusting curtains, and watering plants—so your house looks lived-in, adding an extra layer of security.

  • We ask that you supply enough food for the duration of the sitting (for the dog – not for GGS!).

Dog Walking

Whether your dog needs a daily stroll or an occasional walk, GGS Pet Care is here to help! We offer reliable, professional dog walking tailored to your pet’s needs—so they get the exercise, stimulation, and companionship they deserve.

Our walks are:

  • 30 or 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs
  • Solo or group walks (we match dogs based on temperament)
  • Access to a fenced field for off lead runs
  • Filled with fun, enrichment, and plenty of attention

Care for All Small Pets

Our standard service includes two daily visits, each lasting 20 to 30 minutes, where we:

  • Feed and provide fresh water
  • Let pets in or out as needed
  • Give them plenty of attention and care

What is DeShedding?

DeShedding removes loose hair from your pet’s undercoat—hair that regular brushing or combing may not reach. By eliminating this hair before it sheds naturally, deShedding helps reduce fur buildup in your home.

Most pets have two layers of fur:

  • Top coat – The visible outer layer with guard hairs that keep the skin dry.
  • Undercoat – A softer, insulating layer beneath the top coat.

1-2-1 Dog Training

In 2020, I welcomed a German Shepherd puppy into my life, and alongside training my own dog, I was inspired to expand my knowledge and grow my business. To deepen my understanding of canine behavior, I completed a Level 5 Applied Behaviour course, adding to my existing qualifications.

Now, I share my expertise with dog owners facing behavioral challenges, helping them build a stronger, more positive relationship with their pets.

Training Sessions:

  • Adult dogs: ~45 minutes
  • Puppies: ~30 minutes (optimal for their attention span)
  • Method: Positive reinforcement & reward-based training whenever possible
  • Location: Private, secure paddock in Alvanley

  • Waiting time charged seperately, so we can bring your pet home afterward if needed
